Amazing $30 Map-Making Humble Bundle Represents a Virtual Tabletop GM's Dream

After a brief run back in April, the Map Making Mega Bundle is back for a limited time that lasts until Dec. 2. Hailed as an extensive collection of mapping tools developed by a specialized software company throughout their history, the entire collection is valued at more than thirteen hundred dollars. Additionally, there exist three different bundles available here.

Primary Feature

The standout feature is certainly a lifetime license for Campaign Cartographer 3+, an industry-standard mapping application that can be used to generate various types including fantasy overworld maps, detailed regional charts, urban layouts, and, perhaps most importantly, dungeon and tabletop battle maps.

Bundle Tiers

Entry Level

The cheapest bundle tier, at a minimum cost of $1, features merely four of the 39 total items: Fantasy Overland Symbol Collection, Monster Token Pack 1, Source Maps: Castles!, Urban Source Maps. This one's only for existing CC3+ users, but it does offer new fantasy symbol styles for overworld maps, more than 750 monster tokens for use in virtual tabletops, over twenty-five top-down castle layouts including hundreds of map markers, eight complete urban centers, and more than 70 urban floorplans.

Mid-Range Option

The eight-product collection for at least $15 offers enhanced value by adding in a lifetime CC3+ license, Cartographer's Annual Vol 1, Tome of Ultimate Mapping, Isometric Cities Symbol Pack. Cartographer's Annual is the annual collection from the company's long-running monthly subscription service which includes a variety CC3+ add-ons like map collections and additional utilities. The Isometric Cities enables display cities with an extra dimension with isometric views from all sides. Meanwhile, the Mapping Tome is a 760-page suitable for novices and experts, packed with guidance and instructions for the map-making process.

Every volume from the Annual series are included here, plus numerous other resource and asset packs that can help users craft complete solar systems, or focus exclusively on traditional fantasy world-building: combat arenas, dungeons, cities, and land masses from almost any perspective. Users can also create character illustrations. At thirty versus fifteen dollars, the full bundle offers tremendous value, particularly for mappers who have only the annual CC3+ license and want to upgrade to lifetime. But it's obviously more advantageous for cartography beginners considering you even get introductory guides to help you get started. The sole limitation is that while you can redeem the deal on any platform, the applications only function on Windows.

As with other Humble Bundles, part of every purchase supports charitable organizations. For this one, the beneficiary is Save the Children, an organization founded by Eglantyne Jebb in 1919 dedicated to enhancing children's welfare globally through education, health care, and emergency relief.
